A good time for creativity in the market.
It was the best of times. It was the worst of times. In the case of the mortgage industry, we’re probably somewhere between both of those extremes. But I continue to marvel at the ways in which the savviest and most entrepreneurial of firms in our business find new ways to do business. These are the companies who will persevere and succeed.
I have just started doing business with a very aggressive warehouse lender adding a number of mortgage bankers. They want savvy successful clients which issue securities and who understand the beauty of being able to use 100 % of their respective lines for sublines with their own clients. It sounds too good to be true but it is. Is anyone else out there seeing this?
